Points Races P3 & P4
Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 02:03AM A wild and windy Saturday's racing was enjoyed by the HYC sailors. There were a number of DNFs a selection of DNSs but thankfully little damage to person or gear. Those that stayed on the race course experienced periods of low flying at times, and swimming at other times. I am sure we will be able to provide the Hamilton City Council and the Medical Officer of Health plenty of feedback about the gastrointestinal effects of swallowing lake water.
Results for these two points races are attached below. The points races form part of the aggregate score and we won't know the winners of the aggregate cups until the end of the season and all the numbers are added up. The scoring system is the same high point scoring as used for the Twilight Series. I will calculate the aggregate points for the first half of the season in a couple of weeks and publish the formula at the same time.
